Scenery from the turnpike has its beauty
You speed along and drink it in
Drinking from the fire hose
of sky and grass and hills and trees
Scenery from the local highway has its beauty
Stoplights and slower speeds let you absorb it
Absorbing at a slower pace
the buildings and the people and the trains
